Cabin Winterize
One visit, done right, with a photo report so you can see exactly what we did. It's the easiest way to find out how we work.
- Water shut-off and drain-down. Main valve located, tagged and tested, lines drained, outdoor spigots and hoses done.
- Heat tape check. Plugged in, tested, GFCI outlet checked.
- Weatherstripping and door sweeps. Drafts found and sealed.
- Smoke and CO detectors tested. Batteries replaced where needed.
- Thermostat, vents and propane. Set for an empty house, vents clear, propane level noted.
- Photo report, texted to you. Plus a short list of anything we'd fix before spring.
$295 after November. Homes over 3,500 sq ft or 3+ baths quoted on the call.

Built by a builder
Singing River Services is Jesse Hardy's building company. We've built and remodeled custom homes across northern New Mexico, so we know where these houses fail in winter: the crawlspace run, the north wall, the heat tape nobody tested.
When we find something, we can fix it ourselves. You don't need to find a separate repair guy.

Do I need to be there?
No. Most of our clients are out of town. Leave a key with us or use a lockbox, and we'll text you photos when we're done.
What happens if you find a problem?
We call or text you with photos and a price. Small fixes can happen on the spot with your OK. Members get priority scheduling and a discount on labor.
Is there a contract?
Cabin Watch is billed monthly. Because the winterize is included, plans have a six-month minimum that covers the winter. After that it's month to month.
Which areas do you cover?
Angel Fire, Red River, Taos, Questa, Eagle Nest, Arroyo Seco, Arroyo Hondo and Taos Ski Valley. If you're just outside these areas, ask us.
Can you handle bigger projects?
Yes. Singing River Services is a general contractor, so we handle repairs, remodels, additions and new builds.
